Choose the appropriate acrylic material, typically known as plexiglass, to meet the design requirements and withstand the required loads. Consider different color and thickness options based on the project’s needs.
Laser cutting achieves precision in shaping acrylic, offering efficiency and customization. It handles complex designs swiftly, preserving material and producing smooth, polished edges.
Gently pass the acrylic sheet through the sanding machine or router, ensuring even pressure and a consistent motion. The tool’s rotation will round the edges smoothly.
If bending or shaping is required, heat the acrylic to the appropriate temperature and use molds or processing equipment to shape it into the desired form.
All cut and shaped edges need to be ground and polished to achieve a smooth appearance and feel. This helps eliminate sharp edges and imperfections.
Assemble all acrylic components in the correct order according to the design. Typically, this involves using acrylic adhesive or mechanical fasteners to ensure the stability and strength of the display shelf.
Finally, package the finished acrylic display shelf to ensure it remains undamaged during transportation. Then, deliver it according to the customer’s requirements.
